This irresistible Tiger is inspired by the simplicity of wooden pegg dolls. Tiger is a crochet pattern from my Wild Animals collection! Tiger has a number of other friends, including Giraffe, Zebra and Elephant.
For the Amigurumi Festival of Wolplein in September 2023, with the theme Safari, I designed Tiger.
The charm of this wild cat will conquer every child's heart, but who wouldn't want to have such an amazing tabby tiger in their home?!
Materials used for Tiger:
You can use any brand and type of yarn you want for this crochet pattern. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, Tiger will also become larger or smaller. Below is a list of the materials I used for this fun Safari tiger.
- Yarn and Colors Charming 015 Mustard, 35 grams
- Yarn and Colors Charming 028 Soil, 13 grams
- Yarn and Colors Charming Cream, 7 grams
- Crochet Hook 3
- Little black and white cotton for the eyelets, Yarn and Colors Must Have mini 100 Black & 001 White, with crochet hook 2.5
- Scissors, needle, filling
- Piece of thick cardboard or plastic for the bottom.
- To secure the parts you can use the yarn yourself, but you can also sew the small parts with sewing thread or glue them with textile glue.
Tiger is almost 16cm tall.
